The appreciation of the dollar and rising interest rates in the United States have led to a poor performance of emerging assets in the past month. In addition, the brewing trade war between the US and China continues, fuelled by trade tensions which have been further exacerbated by the publication of the list of Chinese products subject to tariffs and new protectionist measures. The Fed has implemented its seventh rate hike since 2015 and the ECB has announced that it will not raise its rates until after summer 2019. Gabriel Noguera, from the Customer Strategy Department, presents the investment outlooks for July in this video.
